Born in Turin on 13 July 1887, died there on 3 September 1936. Self-taught. He immediately understood that the divisionist technique was the most responsive to his temperament and his sensitivity for the pursuits of light and art. At the age of twenty-four he took part in the first important exhibition, and precisely at the Turin International in 1911, in the Alpine Village, with the painting Light and Shadow (owned by Erick Ellick of Cologne) and with Luci deliorno, owned by Ansaldi. Later he took part in the main Italian exhibitions, including the Venice and Rome Biennials, and also held personal exhibitions abroad: in Montevideo, Cairo, Vienna, Prague, etc. His works are partly found in private collections in Italy and abroad. He lived abroad for many years and was able to form an artistic culture through travels and during long stops in the most important cities of Europe. Numerous were his conferences in foreign cities to extend the knowledge and worship of Segantini, Pellizza and Italian divisionism. He also cultivated woodcut, especially in color, in the period 1920-30.
