Born in Nola on 8 June 1844, died in San Paolo Belsito on 29 May 1894. He studied at the Academy of Naples, a pupil of Giuseppe Mancinelli, and perfected himself following the advice of Vincenzo Petruccelli. He preferred the painting of Neapolitan costumes and Flemish genre scenes. He participated in various exhibitions in Rome and Naples. His painting "A sessantanni" was purchased by the King for the Capodimonte Gallery, where it is currently located.
