Born in Lecco, died in Venice, of which he portrayed picturesque views and small ambient paintings. A good watercolorist and cheerful colorist, he also dedicated his activity to the historical painting. He exhibited the Interior of San Marco in Bologna in 1888; Fondamenta de 'Mori; in Florence, The four seasons (watercolor). Other works by him: The Abbey of San Giorgio; A street; Palazzo Lolla in San Geremia; Atrium of the Basilica of San Marco; Old sin and new backbiting; Venetian fruit seller.
