Born in Forlì October 29, 1857, died in the hospital of St. Anne of Minting December 4, 1944. He attended the Academy of Florence; but studied mostly by himself, portraying from life. He treated the landscape and preferably flowers. He took part in several exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, and his works are scattered 'everywhere, especially in Russia.
