Born in Alba in 1835, died in Turin in 1915. A genre painter, he particularly dealt with Pompeian scenes or scenes from the 17th century. He exhibited several times at the Turin Promoter. He also made pictures intended for reproduction. His oil painting The Bible of the Curate is kept at the Civic Museum of Turin. He was a promoter of "L'Acquaforte" in Turin and collaborated on his books. He also cultivated lithography.
