Born in Verona on February 24, 1824, died in the same city on January 11, 1900. Esteemed landscape painter, he painted views of the Lombard lakes, the Venetian lagoon, the Neapolitan rivieras, and visions of the Alps. He appeared at the Verona Expositions in 1858, in 1866 and the following. Some of his works: Piazza delle Erbe in Verona; Lake Maggiore; Pescarenico; Lake Iseo; Brenta Valley; Chioggia; St. Mark's Square; Riva degli Schiavoni, watercolor purchased by Colonel Gonnet of London; Monte Rosa; View of Lecco; Bridge to Castel Sant'Angelo.
