Born in Serravalle (Vittorio Veneto) on March 22, 1845, died in Padua on April 10, 1911. Eager to devote himself to art, very young he had decided to wear the cassock to remove himself from distractions and be able to devote himself to painting, when (1860) the war against Austria, and despite his age he volunteered. Due to the interest of General Cialdini he was later able to attend the Academy of Bologna. In 1881 he sent Requies and I vagabondi to Milan; in 1883, in Rome, The prayer and Nono no xè Sì bon, and in Venice, Unico patrimony; at the Crystal Palace in London, in 1884, various works that earned him a silver medal; in 1893, in Milan, Ammalato ?, awarded with a gold medal; in 1895, in Venice, Interior of a stable; in 1898, in Turin, Landscape and Family Joys, the latter awarded with the Levi check and purchased by the Ministry of Public Education for the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome; in 1900, in Verona, a stable of oxen; in 1902, at the Quadrennial of Turin: Stalla; Prayer and Guardian Angel; in 1904, in Padua, the sketch of the painting Follie and Testa di donna; in 1906, at the Exposition held in Milan for the inauguration of the new Simplon Pass, The Prayer and Portrait of the musician Cesare Pollini of Padua; in 1908, in the latter city, San Sebastiano and Al Pasture; in 1909, in Monaco, Wild Flowers, and in the same year he was invited to exhibit at the Paris Motor Show. Portraits: notable are those of: Caterina Boccaloni noble Malaspina, belonging to prof. Oliviero Ronchi of Padua; Bishop Callegari; Monsignor Pietro Balan and the astronomer Sacchi, preserved in the library of the Seminary of Padua. But Pajetta's pictorial talent was also revealed in the symbolic decoration, as demonstrated by the ceiling of the Camerini palace in Piazzola and the ceiling of the church of San Giovanni Ilarione above Vicenza; the decorations of the Valduga villa in Peltre; the frescoes in the Cathedral of Padua, and in a villa in Vittorio Veneto. Many of Pajetta's works emigrated to America.
