Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, he lived and worked in La Spezia. He participated, together with the La Spezia artists, in the Review of Figurative Arts of the Circolo Corsari, La Spezia, 1965; at the Trade Union Art Reviews of the Municipality of Bonassola, 1966 and at the Exhibition of the Salone Arengario del Broletto, Novara, 1967. He is known for having painted, with strong characterization and sensitivity, seascapes and glimpses of the Lericino landscape.
