Born in Tunis on March 2, 1860 of Italian parents, a Leghorn by choice. He came very young to Florence where he completed his artistic studies, and then went to Naples. He participated in many national exhibitions, especially in Venice, Florence, Milan. He preferred genre paintings and the figure, and there are many paintings of oriental subjects of him, treated with finesse. Canvases by him: Study of the head, sent to Venice in 1887; Another kiss and Confidences, exhibited in the same year at the Florentine Promoter; Two-light portrait and Tailors' Bazaar in Tunis, presented in Venice in 1889 and 1901 respectively; One head; Sweet reproach; Tunis; Last pull; Arabs with coffee (Tunis); A street of Tunis, and the portraits of the painters Corcos and Cecconi; by the pianist Del Valle; by prof. Satin. He did a lot of watercolor and pastel works.
